Happy Birthday Hayden!!

Today Hayden turned 5! And i just want to know: Where is the time going?! I feel like in the past few weeks that he has grown SO much, that he isn't my little boy anymore and that he is turning into this little man. I am so proud of him and for the happiness and joy he brings to our family.

We have literally celebrated Hayden's birthday the entire month of June! We first started off at the beginning of the month with a Party at Hoot's with all of his friends. He had a blast!! (And so did some of the adults too) Hoot's took care of everything which was awesome! (There's nothing worse than when you've just had 15 or so kids at your house for a party for 3-4 hrs and now you have to clean it ALL up!) Then on the 16Th we packed the car and headed to Montana! On the way we stopped in SLC to visit some good friends & to do a little shopping. (my mom & dad drove down from MT to meet us there so that my mom could take me around to all the awesome fabric shops!! It was a BLAST and a post for another day!)

We started out the day with Pancakes for breakfast (Hayden's favorite) Then we let him open 1 present. Next we hit the local bowling alley/casino...yes, we stayed away from the latter. We had lots of fun and ate tons of candy (and at 10am to top it off) Then we ate lunch at DQ! After that we went back to Grandma & Papa's house & played around outside for a bit. Then we went for a ride on the 4wheeler up Strawberry lake! For dinner we did hot dogs and steaks for the adults. And right in the middle of dinner Hayden's Present from mommy & daddy arrived via UPS right up to the front steps! Hayden was very pleased to find that it was a bike! So after cupcakes & ice cream & a few more presents from Gma & Papa we went and rode it for the 1st time at "Papa's Sidewalk" (I'll explain that one later) Then to end the day Hayden and his cousin Rylee got to take a bath in Papa's HUGE bathtub! (what a treat that was) So it's calming down now here at Noisy Creek and I'm sitting here reflecting on the day and my now 5yr old and am completely and utterly content. And with 5 more days of relaxation and fun still ahead of me I'm pretty stoked!!

P.S. I will have to post some pictures tomorrow of our adventures so far.
